Namoi Cotton operates 12 cotton gins in New South Wales and Southern Queensland. Namoi Cotton's cotton gins are installed with the latest equipment to produce quality ginned cotton for Australian growers and end purchasers in spinning mills. The Namoi Cotton gins are located at Goondiwindi (MacIntyre), Mungindi, Ashley, Wathagar, Moomin, Merah North, Yarraman, Trangie, Boggabri and Hillston.

Namoi Cotton is the industry benchmark for cotton ginning in Australia. The Namoi Cotton gins are maintained to the highest standard with the latest safety and operational equipment. All of the Namoi Cotton gins are installed with the Namoi Cotton patented automated round module handling system.

The Namoi Cotton Rules regulate the relationship between Namoi Cotton Co -operative Ltd and its cotton grower members. The Rules have been approved by the Registrar of Co-operatives and the Members of Namoi Cotton Co-operative Ltd

Our Business

Namoi Cotton Co-operative Ltd was established in 1962 and in 2012 celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Namoi Cotton undertakes cotton ginning, cotton marketing and cotton seed marketing services in rural regions of New South Wales and southern Queensland. As part of the Namoi Cotton Alliance joint venture owns and operates warehouse and commodity packing facilities in Wee Waa, Warren and Goondiwindi.

Namoi Cotton operates on co-operative principles with Grower Members.

In addition Namoi Cotton is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange with the issue of Capital Co-operative Units.

The Namoi Cotton business is operated by its experienced and dedicated staff who, by being based within rural communities, align themselves with the needs of Australia's cotton growers.
