About Us
Customer Service

We are committed to high levels of customer service and have teams dedicated to meeting the needs of all our customers, whether residential, business or major industrial.

We work towards achieving a range of key performance indicators that cover everything from how quickly we need to attend to main breaks to how quickly we answer calls to our customer enquiries numbers.

Projects And Services

We are continually researching and undertaking projects to ensure our customers receive the highest level of water or wastewater services.

We provide water and wastewater (sewerage) services to customers from Drouin to Stratford and have more than 3500 kilometres of mains.

Each year we produce a report on the quality of the drinking water we provide to our customers.

Saving Water

An average of 100 customers a month apply for rebates through the various schemes available. We aim to have our residential customers using an average of 183 litres per person per day by 2015.

We are a member of the save water! Alliance, which conducts research and develops programs to help people understand what they can do to save water.

Community And Education

We help our customers understand the role we play, and the services we provide. We aim to teach our community about the importance of water and how it is used in our region.

We offer tours to school and community groups of our treatment plants and reservoir. We also have an education facility, the Vortex Centre, which is at Maryvale, north of Morwell.

We also support the efforts of local community groups through sponsorship and the free hire of our water fountain.

About Us

Our service area has a population of about

140,000 people. We support approximately 64,000 residential connections and major

industries within our region including the dairy, energy, and pulp and paper industries.

We have an important role in the health of our community and the local environment, supplying safe drinking water and eliminating the health risks of untreated wastewater. We must comply with the stringent legislative and regulatory frameworks required to meet the standards expected by our community.
