About Us

Who we are and what we do

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) is a section within the Department of Home Affairs. We are based in New South Wales and report to the Department’s National Office in Canberra.

The OMARA is led by a Director who reports to the Assistant Secretary, Immigration Integrity and Assurance Branch, Immigration Integrity, Assurance and Policy Division.​
