Being in the transport business is more than a job for Barry and Raewyn, Growing up, their children were as much a part of the business as their staff. Today they are proud to have their sons as part of the growing Land Transport.
They have built a strong team of more than 250 staff and operate a fleet of over 350 Units.
The Land family enjoys what they do and recognise the importance of timely and professional service to all their clients. Land Transport is committed to providing this service now and well into the future.
Our Fleet
Our fleet consists of over 350 units including prime movers, body trucks, tilt trays and various trailer types.
All vehicles and equipment are on a rigorous service and maintenance schedule this being part of the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS).
Land Transport has specifically designed trailers for the cartage of machinery, trucks, and various general freight. Trailer types include drop deck trailers fitted with hydraulic ramps and wideners, open trailers with container pins, tautliners with mezzanine floors, chiller tautliners and segregated body trucks for the versatility of dangerous goods transport. Land Transport prides itself with our safety record and uses all recommended and accredited forms of load restraint.
