About Us
Our practice is committed to providing its patients with a full range of general practice services, and is staffed and equipped accordingly. Apart from surgery consultations and procedures, we offer inpatient, home and nursing home visits. The building is designed for easy access and use by all patients- ambulatory, disabled, wheel chair-bound or by ambulance stretcher.
Services Provided
This practice performs several procedures in addition to normal visits, ECG, excisions, immunizations including travel vaccines, Q-fever testing, lung function tests, hearing tests, injections, sutures, blood tests, bandaging/plasters, Medicals for employment etc., and minor procedures for skin lesions. These services attract a separate charge on top of the consultation. Please check with reception for advice on these fees.
After Hours
This practice provides out-of-hours services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by its own medical personnel or by a colleague from another practice with whom we are associated for emergency/out-of-hours cover. For attention out-of-hours, ring 1300 243 628 and they can advise you of details for medical care. Please use this service thoughtfully as it is for genuine significant sudden illness or accident only. There is a fee charged for after-hours services to all patients.
Consultations
Consultations are by appointments 10 minutes in length. Although every effort is made for you to see the doctor of your choice, if your doctor is unavailable, another doctor will be able to see you. Please let our receptionists know if your needs are of a complex nature. This allows them to allocate more time for your consultation. Also let them know if you need to see the doctor urgently or if you have an emergency. Our nurses will triage your concern and advise you of the appropriate actions.
