We first opened our doors in 1977. Back then, we were a small gift shop on Eastern Sydney's leafy Anzac Parade. But as word spread, the store grew, and we moved across the road into our current home, formerly an old cinema.

Now, more than forty years on, Peter's of Kensington has become a Sydney institution with additional locations at Barangaroo, Birkenhead Point and Alexandria. Despite this, Peter's of Kensington remains what it always has been – a family owned and operated, Australian company.

These days, people all over Australia and across the globe visit our famous institution without even leaving their homes. What makes us different? We stock all the biggest brands in homewares, kitchenware, dinnerware and more. For the table, there's Royal Doulton, Wedgwood, Villeroy & Boch, Royal Albert; for the kitchen, KitchenAid, Nespresso, Scanpan, Le Creuset; and for the home, Lalique, Lladro and Ralph Lauren.
