Primech Engineering was established in 1999 by owner – directors Darrell Hams and David Dalrymple.

Darrell and David, as with most of the Primech employees, have long experience in the Mechanical , Electrical and Instrumentation Services industry.

The company has grown from the diverse requirements of the Latrobe Valley’s huge industries, based on the region’s extensive natural resources in pulp and paper, power generation and water – related industries.

The skills acquired in dealing with these industries have enabled Primech to develop extensive project management as well as hands on experience.

That knowledge has seen Primech successfully bid for and carry out projects throughout Australia, including the far north, Western Australia, Victoria, Canberra and Queensland, as well as New Zealand.

Both Darrell Hams and David Dalrymple have extensive experience in organising and managing staff for projects in all of these locations.
