Back in 1992 wool prices had crashed, the district was in the grip of a drought and the Tambo community were challenged to come up with new industry to sustain their economy.
Tambo Teddies take pride of place in homes all over the world our famous teddy bears have made our little town of Tambo the 'outback Teddy capital of Australia'.
Our bears come in two styles and two sizes; Basil and the Toby, and in a variety of colours including a multi coloured patchwork.
We are the makers of the original flat teddy, the Bickie Bear who is soft, cuddly and ideal for newborns.
Our products are all handmade in Australia, using quality Australian natural sheepskin.
