The History
The business evolved after Max started driving interstate for his father Doug, with general freight and subcontracting for other large freight companies. After the sale of Doug's truck Max then drove for Moore Bros, a local freight company.
Max's passion for the Transport Industry saw him purchase his first truck, an Acco 30/70, tipper, truck/trailer. Max seeing a real need for a bulk freight carrier in the region, slowly built on his fleet as the demand from both dry land farming and Viticulture became inevitable. From small beginnings as an owner operator, this was the commencement of M & L J Wishart Contractors Pty Ltd.
